WeTransfer’s Editorial arm WePresent is supremely underrated. IMO they’re churning out some of the most dynamic, engaging, and well formatted content on the web. Endurance performance artist Marina Abrovamich explaining “The Abramovic Method,” that includes exercises like Water Drinking and Rice Counting she developed and practices, got me hooked.

WATCH
Whenever I’m sick, I’m on the look-out for international wholesome content. American TV can either be too intense (see: Succession, The Bear) or too saccharine. Somehow the built-in distance of another culture makes the cheesiness more palatable. Branching out from the usual BBC offerings, I’ve started watching Korean TV shows and I absolutely loved Hometown Cha Cha Cha; quirky characters, intertwining tales, Korean fish dishes I’ve never heard of, all set in a lovely, albeit fictional, seaside town. On Netflix.

DESIGN
Charlotte Kingsnorth’s Hi!breed dining chairs (literally) poke fun at the white boucle chair whose grip on the interior design world one can only hope is softening. SIP
Currently enjoying a slow resurgence, seeing a Gibson on the cocktail menu at one of LAs newest hotspots is proof its really back. In Beverly Hills, La Dolce Vita’s LDV Gibson, with gin, dry vermouth, housemade brine, and black garlic oil is the best tasting (and best dressed) in LA.

JAM
A new Metric album is upon us! …actually not til October but the first single “Just the Once” was released and the band’s description of the song goes straight for the gut;
“Just The Once” is regret disco. It’s a song for when you need to dance yourself clean.
Damn.
